Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitors' interest, which backfires horribly.
We’ve been given an opportunity to extend our season with the movie “Dolphin Tale 2″ starting September 12. We felt this was a great opportunity to offer family friendly fare in September. Unfortunately there is not a lot of family friendly product available right now, and we hope this will please a great number of our patrons. Our season will be extended for Friday and Saturday nights only September 12-13 and 19-20. We’re working on our Labor Day weekend line-up and will have an announcement early in the week of August 24th.
We did have a winner in the Planes: Fire & Rescue contest. Congratulations to Alexander Collins with the following Planes story:
It is soon to be Christmas time here in the world of Planes. Every air tanker and car is excited for Christmas, buying gifts and putting up the … Read More »
Hard to believe the 2014 Drive In Season is almost over. Every year I wonder where the time has gone, and along with that, why I am so tired! Must have been another busy season.
We will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday only starting Friday, August 15th. Our final weekend for the 2014 season will be September 5th and 6th.
We’re very honored and excited to be chosen as one of the Fort Collins 150 exhibits at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery. The exhibit opens on August 20 and our speaker post, complete with two vintage speakers will be on display along with 149 other points of interest that have made the City a treasure for the past 150 years. On August 20th Wes and I will be at the opening and hope to see you there.
Time for another contest!. This weekend – Friday through Sunday – come dressed up like a Ninja Turtle and we’ll enter your name into our drawing for one of these two Ninja Turtle Toys. Great fun for everyone! We have Ninja Swords in the glo tent to add to the fun!
The August 8-15th line-up is likely the most powerful August set we have ever had.
On screen 1 we will be showing Guardians of the Galaxy (PG-13) with Into the Storm (PG-13) as the co-hit.
On screen 2 we will be showing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (PG-13) with Hercules (PG-13) as the co-hit.
Into the Storm is a new movie and the trailer looks awesome. Here’s the link: http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi3246894105/?ref_=tt_ov_vi
With just 4 weekends left in our summer season, it’s time to visit The Twin this year. We will be going to our weekends only schedule starting Monday, August 18th.
Marvel Studios, “Guardians of the Galaxy” is already a hit with the critics. One comment I liked in particular, “The humour is so subtle because the characters are so subtle – they’re not too animated, they’re not too stereotypical and they are NOT what we’ve come to expect from traditional superheroes and THAT’S WHY THIS FILM WORKS SO WELL! Regardless if you’re a Marvel fan or simply a fan of movies in general this is an experience you will welcome as it’s new and refreshing to a sci-fi genre which really needed something new and refreshing and with great performances, stunning visuals and a barrel of laughs mixed with the right amount of action this was a real treat to watch.”
This movie helps us start August with a bang. It’s hard to believe the season is almost finished. … Read More »
