Here at the Holiday Twin Drive In Theatre we are always looking for ways to better communicate with our customers.  After all, if you don’t know what’s showing, how will you decide to come to the movies?

In early 2014 the issue of missing information came to the forefront when I became aware of our patrons having difficulty seeing our social media posts. The Links opens at the Twin

Some of my crew all set to play putt putt at our new 9-hole course!We opened the putt putt course last night for a trial run.  We’ve spent over a month cleaning off the area in front a screen 1, building a putt putt shack and getting the course installed.  We’ll be open every night once the gates open for your pre-show entertainment.  We have some fun additions planned as we go along, including movie themed holes, logo score cards and golf balls and even some glow in the dark fun!  It’s just $3 to play nine holes and the rules are posted at the shack!Check it out!See you at the movies!Snackbarqueen

Drive In Season Begins

Welcome to June! The official launch of the Drive-in season coincides with the first big movie in June and this year it’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.  The second feature will be Angry Birds.  One Screen 2 we’ll be playing The Jungle Book with the second feature X-Men:Apocalypse.  Every summer we have some really tough decisions to make about which movies we play and which ones we pass on in order to make sure we can play the hits that will follow.  We are a family friendly theatre and rarely play R rated films. Tonight, Friday June 3rd, we welcome the Sisters on the Fly to our theatre.  Visit their website https://www.sistersonthefly.com/about-us/about-sotf/  and see for yourself what this wonderful organization is all about.  They’ll have their delightful vintage trailers on hand tonight and you can take a … Read More »

Weather Closure

Saturday, May 7 & Sunday, May 8th we will be closed due to weather.  The field conditions and weather forecast force us to close for the remainder of the weekend.We plan to be open on May 13-15th.  Check back for updates next week.Happy Mother’s Day!Snackbarqueen


Welcome to Springtime in the Rockies!  Another winter storm forces us to close this coming weekend April 29-30.  We just spent a couple of days last week getting our field back into shape from the storms on the 15 & 16.  We’ll take a break from moving mud this week 🙂  Captain America opens on May 6th and we’ll be open on Sunday’s starting May 8th.Stay tuned for updates on our movie line-up.  We’ll likely keep The Jungle Book and Zootopia combo and play Captain America on the other screen.Hopefully this is the last winter blast that forces us to close this season!Stay warm!Snackbarqueen

Closing out April Movie Updates

Wow friends! Thanks for an amazing weekend last week.  We felt like it was mid July.  Three-quarters of our staff are new – and they’re getting the hang of it!  We’re really proud of them and thank you to every one who has patience as we train our “newbies” and get back in the grove ourselves.  🙂This coming weekend we’ve only made one change in the line up.  We’re replacing Batman with My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2.  I know some of you were looking forward to Star Wars, but we couldn’t make a deal with the film company that was satisfactory to us.  Sometimes we just have to pass.  We do have some fun collectible cups, toppers and tins for Star Wars, Batman and coming soon Captain America.  These are highly collectible and we encourage you to pick them … Read More »

2016 Season Opener Announced

Rain or snow won’t stop us now! Final Weekend 2015

Final Nights for the 2015 Season

Another ending of another season.  SIGH 🙁  How does it come around so quickly every year?  We’ve reduced our schedule to weekends only from now until the end of this season.  Our exact open dates for the remainder of the year are: August 28 & 29, September 4, 5 & 6.  We will likely make some adjustments in the line-up for Labor Day weekend and we’ll post those here, via our APP, instagram, twitter and Facebook.We hope you’ve had a chance to visit us more than once this season, we appreciate your patronage and we look forward to seeing you in the Spring of 2016.See you at the movies!Snackbarqueen

Blockbuster Summer Continues

The Summer Marvel movie blockbuster, Ant-Man arrives on July 17th.  We’ll pair that with Inside Out for our screen 2 combo.  On Screen 1 we’ll pair Minions with Jurassic World.  Minions is breaking all animated records, as predicted, and is a fantastic movie.  We encourage our patrons to arrive early on Friday and Saturday nights.  We’ve been selling out around 8 pm each evening.  Please be in line by 7 pm to ensure you have a parking spot.  If you want to enjoy the show on Sunday through Thursday evenings you can rest assured that there is still plenty of parking for those arriving by 8 pm.See you at the movies!Snackbarqueen
