How long have you been in existence? My son wanted to know if the Holiday Twin Drive-In was the one we went to about 30 years ago when we lived in Ft. Collins (of course, I couldn’t remember!). Thanks.

Oops! I just browsed your website a little closer. You must be the one he was thinking of–you HAVE been around that long! Congratulations and I’ll tell him you are the one he remembers.

how often do you change movies? Would you please post on your site what next weeks movies will be?

We normally change one or two movies every Friday. The website has a coming soon section for movies that will be opening in the next 2-3 weeks. We post the complete package on Facebook every Monday for the coming Friday.

I don’t have a facebook acount, nor do i want one, even though i would like to go to your theatre. I have no knowledge of whether or not i will go on friday, since you will not let us know what movies you will be showing for that day, until that day. I am going there to watch 2 movies, not one, please post next weeks full movie listings as soon as possible.

We only post the upcoming movies on the Monday prior to the Friday openings on Facebook and Twitter. The web site shows what movies are opening on the coming soon page. We also post the movies on Twitter. For now, that’s the plan for movie postings.

This is my 19 or 20th year since I moved to NoCo and I’m as excited as a kid to go to the drive-in. The fee is nominal for the clean parking and the food is great! There are always a new and current movies playing. Can’t wait!!!

For both my visits to HolidayTwin last summer, I couldn’t help noticing the bottleneck of having just one cash-register in use for the concession line (even though I saw two). And this was during intermission. Is this common?

We utilize two cash registers on Friday and Saturday nights as a rule, depending on the traffic and the available staffing that night.

Can ya bring camping chairs and sit outside your vehicle?

Yes, we allow you to sit outside of your vehicle in the front, or back, if you back in. On busy Friday and Saturday nights we don’t allow you to take more than one space. If you come during the week we are more flexible with that rule.

Yes! Popcorn is our best seller. If you’re referring to the snack page on the website, not listing popcorn was an oversight by the original web site designer. It’s on the list of things to update but other items have been a bigger priority. We’ll get to it at a future date. We’re known for our popcorn, in fact some of our regulars tell me they don’t eat popcorn unless they have it at the drive-in, that’s how good it is! Hope you’ll try it sometime this summer and let us know how you like it.

We were 2 hours early and had to move 3 times. We kept having our view blocked because cars were backing up and leaving their hatch up-what’s your policy? It was my husbands birthday that day so what a disappointing evening!! We left early.

We have a “hatch tied level with the roof of your vehicle” policy. We do our best to enforce this policy on a nightly basis and rely on our customers finding a security guard or coming into the snack bar if you are experiencing issues. Understand that this drive-in was built in the 60′s when the concept of SUV’s and large trucks was unheard of. Accommodating every vehicle on a Friday and Saturday night is one of the biggest challenges we have in our business. We’re sorry you had a bad experience. If you couldn’t get some resolution with one of our security guards, then coming into the snack bar is the next best thing.

Didn’t think any drive-ins were still around. I checked out your rules – is outside food allowed?
Can we bring sandwiches or snacks of our own?

While we won’t stop you from bringing in outside food, except pizzas, we don’t encourage you to bring your own food. The drive in cannot survive on ticket sales alone. We pay 80% of our box office grosses to the movie companies for the rental of the films. That 20% that is left over wouldn’t pay the insurance every year. So we need folks to support our snack bar. However, we understand that some people will bring their own food, so we encourage you to support the snack bar when you can. We’re grateful for those folks who strongly support our snack bar, it’s the reason we’re still in business.

So if you show 2 movies on each screen, then what time does each movie start? I saw that the movies start at sundown, but I want to see Hansel and Gretel but I’m not sure what time it starts?
